What is Student Pavilion?
At the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program, we are establishing the “Student Pavilion,” organized by students. Student Pavilion is placed with the concept of '"Providing contents targeted students to consider 'entrepreneurship' as their career option." This place will also provide opportunity for students to connect with passionate students active both domestically and internationally. Student Pavilion has 4 contents to drive the growth of students who are unsure of what to do step by step.

Mental Health Strategies
for Surviving as an Entrepreneur for Future
Although entrepreneurship and startups have been becoming increasingly common for students, recently mental health issues have been an integral part of careers in startups, and also currently only dealt with on a short-term, personalized basis by each entrepreneur. This session aims to provide a prescription for future entrepreneurs, especially students, on the theme of "how to deal with mental health issues at startups".

The organization hosts the contest approximately five times a year, gathering over 100 university students from across the country every summer for 6-day/5-night overnight business contest.

StudentSpecified Non-Profit Organization FOSJapanFOS is a Specified Non-Profit Organization founded by students from the University of Tokyo and several other institutions. Dedicated to providing educational opportunities for all children, FOS tackles educational challenges such as inequality and discrimination through learning and career support in Japan. Since its inception, over 200 volunteer university students have joined the organization, which has extended support to around 5,000 children across more than 60 junior high and high schools within two years. Our efforts span various initiatives, including the integration of information technology to enhance our impact.

StudentTEDxUTokyo Executive CommitteeJapanExecutive Committee TEDxUTokyo, which is the first TEDx event at a university in Japan established under lisence from TED, convenes at the Yasuda Auditorium. Drawing over 400 participants, the event serves as a hub for networking, complemented by presentations from 9 to 11 speakers who deliver innovative and impactful ideas. With the overarching goal of disseminating "Ideas Worth Spreading" in alignment with TED's ethos, TEDxUTokyo aims to cultivate a sense of community among its diverse attendees.

We regularly host an event called "Student Web3 & Metaverse Summit," where we invite prominent figures in Web3 and the metaverse to share the latest industry insights and foundational knowledge through talk sessions and Q&A opportunities. Additionally, we maintain a community server on Discord where we share daily industry news and internship opportunities designed for students.

StudentWitJapan"Wit" is a student organization for students who interested in entrepreneurship and startups, designed to gather their enthusiasm and foster networking opportunities. The group organizes activities and events to facilitate interactions among student entrepreneurs, students, and venture capitalists (VCs). In December of the previous year, Wit held a year-end party with sponsorship from a VC, which enabled student entrepreneurs and members to network. In January 2024, Wit was featured in an NHK broadcast and hosted a discussion and networking event with angel investors at the office of Wit member / Driver Technologies CEO, Kawashima.

UniversityTongaliJapanTongali is an educational institution dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in Central Japan’s academic communities. Aiming to bridge the gap between the academic and business worlds, we help university-based startups launch and grow since our inception 2016, including by securing $35M in funding, coordinating mentorships and providing access to workspace, equipment and other supportive resources.
