    GO GLOBAL: World Tech Conference Edition

    This seminar, hosted by the Minato City Industrial Promotion Center, marks the 20th session of the “GO GLOBAL: World Tech Conference Edition,” a series designed to connect participants with key figures in startup ecosystems around the world. The Minato City Industrial Promotion Center aims to build a co‑creation partnership platform together with global ecosystems, embassies, and related organizations, and launched the GO GLOBAL seminar series as part of this initiative. The program is dedicated to supporting the global expansion of Japanese companies and startups through collaboration with co‑creation partners.

    Tech conferences are global events where cutting‑edge technologies, services, research, entrepreneurs, and business leaders gather to share insights on emerging trends, new developments, innovations, and the future of the world. These events also offer opportunities for direct engagement through exhibitions featuring both major corporations and startups. Representative examples include CES in the United States, MWC in Spain, Viva Technology in France, GITEX in Dubai, London Tech Week in the United Kingdom, and IFA in Germany. In Japan, CEATEC and SusHi Tech Tokyo are well‑known counterparts.

    More people from Japan are now taking on the challenge of participating in global tech conferences, and new initiatives that extend beyond Japan to the world are steadily expanding. Through this event, we hope to spend a meaningful half‑day learning together about what it means to take on global challenges, what participants have gained from competing on the world stage, and the motivations of those who are driving global tech conferences from Japan.

    Since 2024, Too Hot to Be Cool bridges the gap between Tokyo’s vibrant rock scene and global climate action. Celebrating its 2nd anniversary on 11 April 2026 at the legendary Bauhaus in Roppongi, the event will bring together international and local audiences for a high-energy night of music with a mission. All ticket proceeds are donated to a youth-led climate NPO in Southeast Asia.
